Hi,

I have a good idea for the "slide show mode" to play the lessons. It is already a great function. But can there be build a new option into it that lets you see your own language version of the word but not the language you are learning. Then you can check if you have memorized this word. After you click a button the foreign language version of the word is shown.

Greetings, Pascal.

Thank you for your idea pascalknol.

Let's discuss it a little bit so that we (the Internet Polyglot team) understand it better.

Now the slide show shows words in two languages. The first language is supposedly the one that you learn and the second language is supposedly your own language. Do you mean that it would be helpful to show this word in one more language?

What about showing this word in all languages? Same as on a lesson detail page when you click on an image icon - it shows you an image of this word and it's translation to all Polyglot's languages in a popup window. Would it be helpful?

The left word is the word that I'm learning, the right word is the word in my own language.

How I would like the new function:

When the left word is not directly shown than I can test myself to see if I remembered it. Than I have to click on a button to show the left word.

Ok, I see it now. So you want to have some classic "Flashcard" behavior introduced on the slide show. Let us think about it - how we can better organize things.

And thanks for your posting!
