I speak English and Find myself learning Dutch?

I accepted a 2 year contract in Sint Maarten (Netherlands Antilles). Since I am a typical American I speak English and that is about it. After several years of Spanish in high school and college I can manage "Hablo muy poco espanol." And yeah that is about all I can speak. So I am face with living on an Island that speaks Dutch and French. I am going to live on the Dutch side, so i figured I would start there and work my way to French.
Would love to find a pen pal, maybe eventually IM and Speaking if I can get anywhere with this.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks
