We are planning to start development of a mobile application so that you can play Internet Polyglot games on your phones. Briefly, the description of the first version is following:

1. User logs in on the phone with username/password from Internet Polyglot site
2. User goes either to public lessons or to "My Lessons"
3. User browses lessons
4. User selects a lesson and looks at the words and translations
5. User plays Guessing Game with this lesson
6. During playing the results are saved on the site

Please let us know if this application is something that you would want to have on your phone.

sounds great but sadly in many countries internet in the phone is very expensive
so not everybody would be able to use it.
would be nice if you develop something offline to install in the phone from the computer
for people like me that can't get access to internet on the phone
but want to learn languages.

I also thought would be nice to be able to download the lessons in mp3 format
so we can listen and learn new words in our phones or mp3 players
while we are going to work  ,the gym , bus, car, train, etc

Hi Johannly,

Thank you for your feedback.

Yes, we are thinking of having a version of the mobile application that wouldn't require Internet access.

The Alpha version of the application is developed! Go to http://www.mobilepolyglot.com , download, install it and start playing!

You phone should support J2ME (please check your phone documentation before installing).

Please give us your feedback - report problems here.

The easiest way to install the application on your phone is to open your phone's Internet browser and go to mpoly.me - and then follow the installation instructions.
